Showcasing the best at All Energy 08
12 May 2008

It’s the UK’s biggest renewable energy event and when All-Energy kicks off on 21st May, HI-energy will be there showcasing the best of the region’s renewable energy businesses.

This year’s event will see more than 30 companies from the Highlands and Islands exhibiting - the highest number yet at the two-day show, which is now in its eighth year.

Among the companies and organisations representing the region at the show will be Wavegen, Balcas, Camcal, Aquatera, Chillwind, Bryan J Rendall, four of the region’s local authorities, NSIG and the Highlands and Islands Community Energy Company (HICEC).

Anna Allan, senior development manager at Highlands and Islands Enterprise, says: “All-Energy is a fantastic opportunity to showcase the bold and exciting renewable energy developments and technologies for which the Highlands and Islands is now recognised.

“This region has some of the world’s best natural resources, several ground-breaking projects and the infrastructure and supply chain to support a wide range of renewables projects. All-Energy brings industry representatives from all over the world under one roof and it is vital that the Highlands and Islands is well represented and promoted at this important event.”
